Peperonata

It is a tasty, simple and colorful dish from the peasant tradition. Montanini Peperonata is made with fresh peppers and onions in tomato sauce, ready to be enjoyed hot or cold as a main course, or as a side dish for meat and fish or to stuff sandwiches. A tip to maximize its flavor? Pour the Peperonata into a non-stick pan, add an egg and heat over low heat, allowing the egg to reach the desired consistency.
